Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service initiated a criminal investigation and identified Nathan Lee CHASING HORSE (American) as the prime suspect who was currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada with his 7 wives. This investigation quickly transpired into a multi-jurisdictional and international criminal investigation which spanned 3 Canadian Provinces and 5 U.S. States. As a result of additional (related) criminal charges from Fort Peck, Montana, Keremeos, British Columbia and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as well as the ongoing criminal proceedings in Las Vegas, Nevada, the prosecution of Nathan Chasing Horse required significant planning and cooperation between various law enforcement agencies, Crown Prosecutors, and the District Attorney’s office in Clark County, Nevada, USA. This case is ongoing and still before the American and Canadian courts.
