Therapy is great, but what about the rest of the time? (1 hr.)

We will do a quick review of the impact of trauma (emotional, neurological, CNS, health) but the focus of this session will be to explore what we can do outside of the therapy office. Pulling heavily from The Other 23 Hours and Life Space Crisis Intervention concepts, we will explore specific strategies from models such as NMT and polyvagal theory, to discuss the role and impact that all safe adults can have in the recovery of traumatized children.
