About me
Emile Johnson is a dedicated community leader and advocate with over 10 years of experience working to improve the lives of children, youth, and families across Alberta. He currently serves as the Director of Resiliency and Child Advocacy Research at Red Deer Polytechnic, where he leads trauma-informed initiatives and collaborative research focused on creating safer, more supportive communities. Emile has a deep background in social services, Indigenous relations, and public policy and has held leadership roles in both government and non-profit sectors. Passionate about building strong partnerships, he works closely with local organizations, advocacy groups, and government agencies to drive meaningful change. Emile is currently completing his Ph.D. in Psychology and serves on several local advisory boards focused on mental health, equity, and inclusion.
